Here is a nice 30 year old lady from Surprise, Arizona. After doing a lot of research on her own, she decided to discuss with me her goal of achieving a mommy makeover. She consulted with me at my Scottsdale, Arizona medical practice to pursue her interests in breast augmentation combined with a tummy tuck. For the tummy, she was concerned about the flabby skin that developed. I therefore, recommend an abdominoplasty using the very low incision technique. I also recommended liposuction of the flanks and hips to reduce the waistline. In her opinion, the breasts were not saggy and they were still also perky. She was concerned that her right breast was smaller and tighter than the left breast. She did request to have a fuller cup and to achieve the most natural result possible. Right before surgery, she was wearing a 36 B and requested a small D cup, with better symmetry. She is in good health, 5 feet 5 inches tall, and weighs 143 pounds right before surgery. Achieving the most natural result possible was a big priority. My patient had performed a lot of research about silicone and saline breast implants. I felt that silicone would give her the best results. Her mommy makeover was performed using Mentor’s MemoryGel Cohesive Silicone breast implants placed under the muscles for her breast augmentation. I used a larger implant on her right breast for best symmetry. In the right, a 400 cc moderate plus silicone gel filled implant was placed. On the left, a 375 cc moderate plus silicone gel filled implant was placed. A tummy tuck was performed using our very low incision technique and the abdominal muscles were corrected. Liposuction in the tummy, love handles and flanks allowed for the removal of 1000 cc of unwanted fat from her body. A pain reducing pump was placed for greater comfort. She preferred to go home after surgery and made an excellent recovery after her mommy makeover. She has told me her breasts are symmetrical now and that these feel soft and natural. She is feeling very confident with her new figure that developed after surgery.
