Internal Breast Lift

Some patients experience only a small amount of sagginess of the breasts early in life or after a first pregnancy. These patients are usually good candidates for an internal breast lift, a procedure that can lift the breast and restore perkiness to the sagging breast. In this procedure, an implant is placed under the pectoral muscle which is manipulated during surgery using special techniques to allow the breast to become tighter, fuller and perky. There is no need for patients to wait for a second pregnancy to have implants.

Implants placed under the pectoral muscle supports the breast better and afterwards they experience less sagging with weight changes, pregnancy, and aging than women without implants.

After surgery, the breasts appear lifted, fuller and perky. However, this technique uses no incisions on the breast skin. The only incision used is placed at the breast crease. The lift and amount of tightness seen after surgery varies, depending on the amount of excess skin before surgery and the size of the implant. Most patients can have their sagginess totally corrected, while others obtain a partial correction. This procedure is extremely rewarding for most patients and helps to prevent sagginess for many years after wards.
