During pregnancy, this 25-year-old woman from Scottsdale, Arizona had gained very large breasts and was a 38 C cup. At one point she did a great job at loosing the excess baby weight. After having already seen other board certified plastic surgeons, and considering this surgery for seven years, this woman came in for a consultation on a mommy makeover. We sat down and discussed her priorities. She wanted very perky breasts that appeared natural and looked great for her proportions. She wanted a tight tummy with strong muscles and to remove the loose skin with a goal to establish a solid D cup. After examination, Dr. Aldo found her to be a good candidate for a mommy makeover type I, including breast augmentation with High Profile saline filled breast implants, an areola lift and reduction and a very low incision tummy tuck to remove the loose skin after pregnancy. Before her cosmetic surgery, she is 5 feet 3 inches and 140 pounds.
Her operation was performed at a local Arizona plastic surgery center and a pain-reducing pump was placed for the greatest comfort. Her breast augmentation was performed using saline high profile breast implants placed through a crease incision and under the muscle. A reduction and lift of the areola was then performed. The areola were 7 x 7 centimeters before breast surgery and are 3.8 by 3.8 centimeters after surgery using a round block technique. The tummy tuck was performed using a very low incision technique and the abdominal muscles were tightened. Her recovery was smooth after her mommy makeover. She is shown two months after the operation and her photos demonstrate a tight and flat tummy, round and attractive breasts and a significant improvement in her body.
