This 26-year-old woman from Phoenix, Arizona was interested in breast enhancement with either saline or silicone breast implants. She considered her breasts to be small and soft, but wanted to maintain that natural softness as best as possible. This was an important deciding factor in her choice of silicone gel breast implants. Additionally, she wanted the areola to be reduced and wanted the entire operation to be performed only through the areola. Before breast surgery, she was a 34 small B and requested breasts that would be a small D. She is in good health, 5 feet 4 inches tall, and weighs 123 pounds. A pair of smooth, round, and Moderate Plus in shape, 400 cc volume silicone gel filled implants were used for her breast augmentation. They were placed using an areola incision and under the muscle. The areola on each breast was reduced from 55 mm to 38 mm, for a more natural and proportionate result. She made an excellent recovery after her cosmetic surgery. Her confidence is much improved after this breast augmentation and areola-reducing surgery.
