A 33 year old requested a tummy tuck to improve the appearance of the abdomen. As a child, she had surgery on her abdomen and this left a bad scar, which made her feel insecure. She also had children later in life, and this caused her skin to become loose while developing a "pooch" in her abdomen. Before her Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty) with hip liposuction, she was 5 feet and 6 inches tall, while her weight was 145 pounds. I performed a tummy tuck in Scottsdale with muscle repair. The skin and fat removed weighed 1.5 kilograms. The power-assisted liposuction yielded 400 cc of pure fat from each hip. This was successful in removing all her old scars while correcting her "pooch". Her before and after tummy tuck photos are at 3 months after surgery and show a nice, tight tummy and a small waistline.
