Here we have a very nice 33-year old lady from Phoenix, Arizona who requested liposuction of the inner and outer thighs. She actually came in to our plastic surgery center to discuss liposuction. She told me that over the past few years she had become less active and had gained some weight. She was now exercising again, but could not loose her love handles and fat in the thighs. As we began discussing these issues, I learned that she also wanted bigger buttocks with a better round shape and a flatter tummy. She mentioned she had a mini tummy tuck 10 years before I met her and this was not as flat as it used to be. At the end on her cosmetic surgery consultation, she desired to have a repeat tummy tuck and liposuction of the body. She then requested that I place the fat back into her buttocks to make the buttocks fuller and more round. I discussed the Brazilian buttock lift technique with fat grafting in great detail and mentioned we would have to remove the fat via liposuction where she did not desire it. Since her priority was also to have liposuction of the love handles and thighs , we chose these areas. After a careful examination and discussing her goals, I recommended that we could perform a tummy tuck and a Brazilian butt lift all in one session. This combination of surgery is called a mommy makeover type 4. Her surgery included a revision tummy tuck, liposuction of the tummy, love handles, thighs, and back. I was able to remove 2700 cc of unwanted fat from her body. Her post-surgery photos taken 3 months after lipo of the thighs. She recently mentioned that she loves how much slimmer the thighs, both the inner and outer, look after her lipo surgery. She has developed more confidence when wearing her tight jeans, once again.
